Boquete, Panama Recommended Activities & Tour Guide

We have added a nifty new search function to the right of the website.  Just type in your key word search and hit return.  Under development you will find in the “links” section to the right, a one click feature to quickly get to the topics listed.

For those of you who are planning a visit to Boquete, we have found a tour guide that we have been impressed with.  Here is the tour guide contact information:

Victor Miranda

Victor was born and raised in Boquete.  He speaks pretty good English.  But best of all, you’ll simply fall in love with his great personality and extensive knowledge of the area.  Just tell him that Luisa and Jim recommended him.  He’ll appreciate that we were thinking about him.

Activity and/or tour recommendations:

  • A coffee  finca (plantation) tour
  • River rafting
  • Calderas hot springs
  • The Bajo Mono loop
  • Paradise Gardens
  • El Explorador Gardens
  • Mi Jardin es su Jardin
  • Canopy tours (not for the faint of heart)
  • Climb Volcan Baru
  • Bird watching at Finca Lerida
  • Festivals – Boquete Feria de las Flores y del Cafe (January)
  • Festivals – Boquete Jazz Festival (February)
  • Festivals – Boquete Orchid Festival (April)

We will get into more detail on these activities in the fullness of time.  If you scroll down the site, you will find detail on the Bajo Mono loop (or use the convenient search function on the right of the site).  Within that post, you will find more detail on Mi Jardin es su Jardin.  Enjoy beautiful Boquete and don’t forget to bring a jacket.
